HowDoDamien shelley and I IMG-20160511-WA0002 ABOUT ME TEACHING MOSAICS

Welcome to Aberdabbadoo - the website of Alison Pierse. ABER, because Alison lives and works in Aberystwyth, DOO, because here you can see what she does, both as an art tutor and as an art practitioner. DABBA is of course, because she is a dab-hand at what she does.

I am presenting to you my Covid Chameleon, as a tribute to our brave NHS workers. Friday 10th July 5-8pm Saturday 11th 11-5pm and Sunday 12-4pm at my Pop-up garden gallery. View from pavement. SY23 2EE.

This mosaic measures 46 x 48 cm and is made from cinca tiles, fusions and diochrome glass, as well as matt and polished vitreous tiles. The eye of the chameleon is made from a single limpet shell foraged from Aber beach. Covid Chameleon comes ready to hang and, as chameleons should, will blend perfectly with any environment you should choose.

It is priced at £350 plus p&p, 10% of which will go to Bronglais Hospital, Aberystwyth.
